Went to my first pride last night and while it was very wet (cause I live in Florida and rain is ever threatening), and very dance orientated, which isn't for everyone, it was worth it to see the wide diversity of queer people. The fem boys, masc guys, fem AND butch les's, not to mention all the trans and just gender queer people were awesome to see in force. Older queers, younger queers, all so comfortable with themselves, it was a wonder to see. For so long the representation on tv and in films and literature has featured the stereotypical white homosexual man, and while they are fantastic to see don't get me wrong, I need more. Life IS mo
